समाचार के विभिन्न प्रकारों का वर्णन कीजिए
Describe the different types of news

समाचार के वर्गीकरण के संबंध में विद्वानों की एकराय नहीं है। उनके अनुसार समाचारों का वर्गीकरण मूलतः निम्न तीन आधारों पर न्यासंगत हो सकता है-

There is no scholarly consensus regarding the classification of news. According to them, the classification of news can be fundamentally based on the following three grounds-

सामान्य वर्गीकरण
General classification

सामान्य वर्गीकरण के अंतर्गत विभिन्न समाचारों को दो प्रमुख श्रेणियों में रखा जाता है-

Under the general classification, various news stories are classified into two main categories-

• कठोर या घटनात्मक समाचार (हार्ड न्यूज)- ऐसे समाचार जिनको किसी भी दशा में रोका नहीं जा सकता, कठोर समाचार कहलाते हैं। इनका प्रकाशन घटना वाले दिन ही हो जाना चाहिए। ये समाचार किसी घटना, आयोजन या दुर्घटना से संबंधित होते हैं। मार्ग दुर्घटनाएँ, हत्या, आत्महत्या तथा अन्य ऐसे ही समाचार इस श्रेणी में आते हैं।

Hard news or Phenomenal news-  News that cannot be stopped in any case are called hard news. They should be published on the day of the event.These news are related to an event or incident. Road accidents, murders, suicides and other similar news fall in this category.

• सहज समाचार- इस श्रेणी में ऐसे समाचार आते हैं, जिनको एक दिन बाद भी प्रकाशित किया जाए तो कोई हानि नहीं होती। फीचर, शोध कार्य, साक्षात्कार, विशेष रपट इस श्रेणी के तहत आते हैं। किसी वस्तु, व्यक्ति या स्थान के सम्बन्ध में मनोरंजनात्मक लेख अथवा रपट कभी भी प्रकाशित किए जा सकते हैं। इनकी उपयोगिता अपेक्षाकृत दीर्घकाल तक बनी रहती है।

Soft  News- In this category, such news comes, which if published even after one day, there is no harm. Features, research work, interviews, special reports fall under this category. Recreational articles or reports regarding any object, person or place can be published at any time. Their usefulness remains relatively long.

समाचार-प्रकृति पर आधारित वर्गीकरण
Classification Based on News-Nature

कुछ विद्वान समाचारों का वर्गीकरण उनकी प्रकृति के आधार पर करते हैं। प्रकृति के आधार पर समाचार आठ प्रकार के होते हैं-

Some scholars classify news based on their nature. Depending on the nature, there are eight types of news-

• खोजपरक समाचार- इस श्रेणी के समाचारों को ढूँढ़ निकालने में संवाददाता को अथक प्रयास करना पड़ता है तथा धन और समय का भी व्यय होता है। सामान्यतः यह समाचार प्रकाशित होने के बाद सम्बन्धित व्यक्ति और यहाँ तक कि सरकार को भी हिलाकर रख देती है। इन समाचारों को ढूँढ़ना और उनका प्रकाशन करना जोखिम-भरा कार्य है।

Investigative News- The reporter has to work tirelessly to find the news of this category and also spend money and time. Generally, after the news is published, it shakes the person concerned and even the government. Finding and publishing these news stories is risky.

 

• ज्ञानवर्धक समाचार- किसी वस्तु, विषय या स्थान के बारे में पाठकों को जानकारी प्रदान करने वाले समाचार इस श्रेणी में रखे जाते हैं।

Informative News- News that provide information to readers about an object, subject or place are placed in this category.

• विवरणात्मक समाचार- ऐसे समाचार जिनमें लेखक विषय या घटना की गहराई तक जाकर उसके बारे में तथ्यों पर आधारित विस्तार से रिपोर्ट देता है,  इस श्रेणी में आते हैं।

Descriptive News-  News in which the author goes to the depth of the subject or event and reports in detail on the facts about it, fall in this category.

• मनोरंजनात्मक समाचार- ऐसे समस्त समाचार जिनका मूल लक्ष्य पाठकों का मनोरंजन करना होता है, मनोरंजनात्मक समाचार कहलाते हैं, जैसे सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का प्रकाशन, फिल्मी गॉसिप आदि।

Recreational News- All such news whose primary goal is to entertain the readers is called recreational news, such as the publication of cultural events, Filmy gossip etc.

• सनसनीखेज समाचार- इन समाचारों का उद्देश्य पाठकों के अन्तःमन को उद्धेलित कर देना होता है। सामान्यतः ये समाचार किसी बड़े अन्याय अथवा जघन्य घटना से संबंधित होते हैं।

Sensational News- The purpose of these news stories is to reveal the inner self of the readers. Generally these news are related to some major injustice or heinous incident.

• विचारोत्तेजक समाचार- ऐसे समाचारों का उद्देश्य पाठकों को कुरीतियों, भ्रष्टाचार और अन्याय के प्रति सजग करना होता है। इन समाचारों को प्रकाषित कर पाठकों से आशा की जाती है कि वह समाज में पनप रही गलत प्रवृत्तियों के दमन के लिए सशक्त मानसिकता का निर्माण करें।

Evocative News- The purpose of such news is to make the readers aware of the evils, corruption and injustice. By publishing these news, readers are expected to create a strong mindset to suppress the wrong tendencies that are flourishing in the society.

• भावनात्मक समाचार- इन समाचारों में सूचनाओं की अपेक्षा मानवीय पक्ष प्रभावी होता है। इसमें किसी व्यक्ति अथवा अन्य प्राणिमात्र की दयनीय स्थिति का वर्णन होता है। समाचार का उद्देष्य पीड़ित पक्ष के लिए सहानुभूति और सहायता की अपेक्षा निहित होती है।

Emotional News-  In these news, human side is more effective than information. It describes the pitiable condition of a person or other living being. The purpose of the news lies in the expectation of sympathy and support for the aggrieved party.

• शोधपरक समाचार- किसी भी क्षेत्र में होने वाले षोध कार्यों को जन-सामान्य तक पहुँचाकर उनको शोध के लाभों से अवगत कराना होता है।

Research News- The research work done in any field has to be made public and make them aware of the benefits of research.

अन्य वर्गीकरण
Other classification

विकास गति के साथ-साथ समाचार के नए-नए आयामों को जन्म मिलता है। विकासोन्मुख समाज की प्रगति में सहायक व्यक्ति, विषय व स्थान समाचार का आकर्षण केन्द्र बन जाता है। यह सहायक तत्व सीमा विहीन होते हैं। वर्तमान समाज में ऐस तत्व जो समाचार-पत्र व पत्रिकाओं में महत्व के विषय हैं, वह निम्न हैं-

Along with the growth momentum, new dimensions of news are born. A person, subject and place that help in the progress of a development oriented society become the center of attention of the news. These auxiliary elements are borderless. In the present society, such elements which are a matter of importance in newspapers and magazines are as follows:

• खेल Sports
• साहित्य Literature
• स्वास्थ्य Health
• चिकित्सा Medicine
• व्यापार Business
• परिवार Family
• नगर City
• राष्ट्र Nation
• अन्तरराष्ट्रीय गतिविधियाँ International activities
• परिवहन Transportation
• विज्ञान Science
• मेले या पर्व Fair or festival
• श्रमिक Labor
• कृषि व किसान Agriculture and Farmers
• मौसम, भूकम्प Weather, Earthquake
• रंग-भेद वर्ण-भेद, जातीयता व क्षेत्रीयता Discrimination, discrimination, ethnicity and regionality
• फैशन, फिल्म fashion, film
• शिक्षा और उच्च तकनीक आदि। Education and high technology etc.

इन सभी विषयों पर समाचार-पत्रों व पत्रिकाओं में जानकारियाँ दी जाती हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त, समाचार-जगत का निरंतर विकास हो रहा है और इसकी परिधि में नित नए विषय और विधाएँ सिमटती जा रही हैं।

Information on all these topics is given in newspapers and magazines. In addition, the news world is constantly evolving and new topics and disciplines are shrinking within its periphery.
